Ras Malai
Ingredients
Approx 14 Rasgollas (to serve 5-6 persons).
2 cans of Sweetened Condensed Milk
Milk (in equal proportion to the sweetened condensed milk).
For flavor & garnishing: Finely chopped unsalted Pistachios, powdered
Elaichi, Saffron strands (soaked in a minimal quantity of water
for 1 hour before use).
Method:
- On opening the can of rasgollas, set them out on a plate &
squeeze all the syrup out of them. Following this, cut each
whole rasgolla in 2 halves.
- Pour out the sweetened condensed milk from the can into a
serving bowl.
- Add milk to the sweetened condensed milk in equal proportion.
Mix it to make it into a homogenous mixture.
- Drop all the cut rosgolla halves into the sweetened condensed
milk.
- Garnish with the finely chopped pistachios, powdered elaichi
& saffron strands.
- Refrigerate & serve cold for the best taste.
