| Indiaoz started operating
on 1st February 2001, since then, Indiaoz has come a long
way. It arose from a need of a one stop information source
for Indians living in Australia. There was no real information
source where Indians living in Australia could get the
latest news and events concerning them. Please also note
that we are in no way associated with any particular society
or group.
We first started serving the Indian
community in Western Australia. Since the launch of
the site we have been getting e-mails from the community
commenting on the usefullness of Indiaoz. After running
the site succesfully for 1 year we decided to serve
Indians all around Australia due to the great success
of the WA edition. So exactly 1 year after, we launched
our new site.
At the moment we are growing very
rapidly, as more and more Indians around Australia are
becoming aware of our site. We now get between 1400-
1600 unique visitors to our site every day. We also
get over 150 000 page views every month and over 300
000 hits per month on our website. This amount is growing
day by day.
Indiaoz has a huge wealth of information
including the latest indian events in Australia, information
on Indian associations and religous groups operating
in Australia, Indian radio programs information, Indian
restaurants in Australia, travel section, free matrimonials
and much much more.
We also have a section for Bollywood
fans, this section is called Bollywood
Blitz. It includes the latest Bollywood news, new
movie reviews, actor and actresses profiles, pistures,
upcoming movie release dates and more. In addition to
our site we regularly feature a movie review on all
our pages, which you can see to the right. Bollywood
Blitz is a must visit for all Bollywood fans.
We also send out a monthly newsletter
via email with information on what's happening at Indiaoz
as well news and events related to the Indian community
in Australia.
