Bengali Language Program 02 9430 2828

The primary aim of the program is to inform and entertain
the Punjabi-speaking community in Australia. News leads
every program with a complete review of events of the
past week in India, Pakistan and across the region. Analysis
of current affairs is provided by our panel, which comprises
journalists and political commentators. There's also world
news, reports on Australian events and issues, topical
features and guest interviews. Discussion of social and
cultural issues is a major component of the program and
talkback sessions provide the opportunity for listeners
to have their say. We regularly cover issues relevant
to the migrant community living in Australia and provide
comprehensive coverage of any policy changes pertaining
to Migration, Visas, Employment. Traditional and contemporary
music is an indispensable part of the program and there
are frequent live studio performances by local musicians,
poets and writers. We also encourage young listeners to
participate and frequently invite them into the studio
to hear their views. |
